So here we are, welcome to my Pokémonathon specific DA!

"What is the Pokémonathon?" I hear you cry: Simple. It is a challenge community on Livejournal with but one mission: Draw all the pokémon in numerical order. I've already completed Generation 1, so #001 Bulbasaur through to #151 Mew are in the bag and submitted on my normal DA account,

But as I was gearing up for Gen 2, I felt kinda bad for saturating my normal DA with quite that many Pokeymans. So here is the home for them from now on

Like I said, I'm gearing up for Gen 2, but as I have a rather heavy workload right now outside of personal work I will mostly be posting rough sketches into the scraps section. These will be in biro on lined paper for the most part, doodled in secret at work and snapped using my cameraphone As they are without reference there will be lots of errors, but they will most likely be the basic idea of the pose/expression I will use when I get round to the actual artwork.

Oh, one last thing! The Pokémonathon Community is always looking for new people to take up the challenge! Do you draw a lot of pokémon anyways? maybe you've been doing this challenge already and would like a community specifically geared towards it? Maybe you've got some art block and want to doodle cute little monsters? As for me, I'm on the ferry towards Johto, who knows what the next 100 submissions to this DA will contain? I dunno about you, but I can't wait
